А. Л. Поленова. Приведены данные о становлении учреждения, его директорах и значимости для создания в стране нейрохирургической службы.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents brief historical information about the creation of a specialized hospital of the Institute of Surgical Neuropathology in Leningrad and its further transformation into the Polenov Russian Research Institute of Neurosurgery.
