<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article describes the experience of treating a 63-year-old patient with complete cerebellar atresia, Dandy – Walker syndrome in combination with a large meningioma of the brain. The Dandy – Walker malformation syndrome in its classical form includes: internal hydrocephalus of varying degrees; expansion of the III ventricle to the formation of a cyst of the posterior cranial fossa associated with upward displacement of the lateral sinuses and cerebellar namet; hypoplasia of the hemispheres and cerebellar worm. In 29–55 % of cases, Dandy – Walker syndrome is combined with other malformations (Meckel, Meckel – Gruber, Turner syndromes and other chromosomal aberrations), as well as with lesions of individual organs and systems (poly-, syndactyly, congenital heart defects, polycystic kidney disease, cleft palate). When analyzing modern literature, there was not a single described case of the occurrence of volumetric brain formation in combination with Dandy – Walker syndrome. The patient underwent surgical intervention with resection of the bone tissues of the skull, due to massive germination of the tumor tissue of the bones of the skull, total removal of the tumor. An increase in the number of described cases will make it possible to create algorithms for the diagnosis and treatment of this disease</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>синдром Денди – Уокера</kwd><kwd>опухоль головного мозга</kwd><kwd>сочетание</kwd><kwd>лечение</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Dandy – Walker syndrome</kwd><kwd>brain tumor</kwd><kwd>a combination of</kwd><kwd>treatment</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Hirsch J.
